    We are here to support the success of your event.
    So… we have a couple things that might help! See our handy FAQ & Event Guide for more information.

    NOTE:  The numbers and prices provided below are approximate and due to practical factors beyond our control we cannot guarantee availability or functionality. This list is updated Quarterly.

    Equipment is offered as an extra for your event rental. We recommend not planning to need 100% of our tables or chairs in case of broken items or other events in the building.

    Equipment Available:

    • 111  white padded wedding style chairs – (2nd floor, $50 staff fee to move downstairs)
    • 87 dark blue/black padded hotel banquet style chairs (1st floor, $50 staff fee to move upstairs)
    • 49 black padded chairs (on carts on both 1st and 2nd floor, renter can wheel them up/down ramp as needed)
    • 8 wooden bistro type (high) chairs (heavy)
    • 3 piece Beautiful rare vintage green couch sectional ($25 to move upstairs)

    • 20 — 8′ x 30″ standard rectangle banquet tables, standard height (seats approx 10 guests)
        Note: Some of these tables are stored downstairs so your caterer can move the up during setup.
    • 10 — 6′ x 30″ lightweight rectangle banquet tables, standard size (seats approx 8 guests)
    • 4 — 6’ x 30″ folding rectangle standard banquet tables, heavy (seats approx 8 guests)
    • 2 — 5′ rectangle banquet tables
    • 12 — 60″ round tables – (seats 8-10 guests)
    • 12 — high top bistro tables – wooden top, metal base
    • 4 — misc small wooden folding accent tables/stands
    • 3 — high wooden bistro tables (heavy) – 1st floor only
    • 1 — 32″ x 58″ curved wooden bar (dark stain) – on wheels
    • 1 — approx 4′ bar, made from repurposed organ pipe console – on wheels
    • 1 — rustic wooden rectangle table on wheels (approx 6′) – 2nd floor only, great for cakes
    • DECOR – Misc vintage radio consoles, record players, tv cases (wooden), not on wheels

    Miscellaneous

    • 1885 Kranich & Bach Baby Grand Piano on wheels (Great Hall – 2nd floor)  Generously donated by the Merritt Family
      *tuning available at cost (~$140)
    • Lester Upright Piano (Gallery – 1st floor)
    • 4 Sound absorbing panels with blue curtains – 4’x8′ – Lean against walls or can be moved away to closet (Great Hall)
    • Small sound system with Bose or similar bookshelf speakers for ipod/background music and announcements on a mic – 1st floor only.  Not recommended for performances.
    • Small sound system with hi-fi Cambridge Soundworks speaker & tuner with ipod cable – 2nd floor only

    SOUND:
    • “Simple Sound” Package: For simple background music, toasts, announcements, etc. Not for performances. This includes: Small 1-3 channel mixer, 1-3 vocal mics, stands, cables, 2 main speakers, input cable for phone/laptop/DJ, etc.

    • “Full Sound” Package (for acoustic performances, bands, films, etc.) FEES APPLY**
    16 or 32 channel Mixer, speakers, monitors, mics, DI boxes, stands, cables, input for ipod/DJ, etc. See below for specs.

    •  DJ equipment/turntables – NS7 digital turntables (just plug in a laptop, software is free) = $50

    Gallery Stage (1st Floor)

    12′ x 12′ Wooden stage in Gallery (1st floor). Height: 18″
    Not recommended for dancing or lots of movement. Included at no fee.

     

    Great Hall Stage (2nd Floor)

    Modular Stage: (8 pieces) 4’x4′ squares.  Height: 2′
    Very sturdy, good for full band arrangements. $150 rental & setup fee

    Many events in the Great Hall do not use staging and simply setup chairs in wide semi-circle

     

     

     

    LIGHTING:
    • 2nd Floor – 4 PAR spots (Red and Yellow) Controlled by two dimmer boards

    • 1st Floor – Basic par38 cans on portable trees, plus 3 dimmable lights in ceiling + gallery track lighting (dimmable)

     

    VIDEO:
    • High brightness digital projectors w/ standard VGA cable (2nd floor with HDMI and VGA connections on East and West walls)
    – bring your own laptop with cable adapters.
    – permanently installed screen included on either floor. 1st floor = 7’x5′, 2nd floor = 10’x10′
    • Portable projector & screen for alternative locations in the Abbey, laptop not included ($80 including setup)

    OTHER:
    • Amps, drums, and other instruments possibly available on request (fee varies)
