The Arts Connect program empowers equitable access to events by providing complimentary tickets to low income individuals or families, nonprofit employees, and veterans. We believe experiencing music and arts events creates a wealth of mental and creative benefits for individuals and Seattle communities as a whole. So come see a show, and let your next day be more inspired and refreshed!
Abbey Arts presents concerts, storytelling, comedy and multi-arts events primarily in the
Upper Fremont, NW Ballard, North Capitol Hill and UDistrict neighborhoods of Seattle, WA.
Arts Connect is a community outreach program of Abbey Arts, nonprofit 501(c)3, non-religious, since 2005. It is funded in part with support from Tableau Foundation, 4Culture, Abbey Arts members and additional partners. Read more about our Mission. This program partners with approved humanitarian & social service 501(c)3 nonprofits mostly in the King County area.
Enjoy a free night of live music, arts, AND Pecado Bueno tacos! Abbey Arts has teamed up with our sponsor Pecado Bueno (Upper Fremont & Eastlake) to provide a limited number of free dinners to low income families & individuals attending our shows. This is in addition to the Arts Connect ticket program and intended to further help reduce barriers and increase accessibility to quality concerts & arts events–and delicious food!
Help us share the word to other nonprofits in your networks that may qualify!
“Access to the arts is such a critical aspect of knowledge that is too often reserved only for the privileged. Thank you for your generosity.” – Launa @ FamilyWorks Food Bank and Resource Center
“As we work to stabilize our youth by providing basic needs (food, shelter, safety, health care), we also find it essential to empower them as much as possible. In engaging with the arts, and with storytelling in particular, some of our youth are able to find their voice and ultimately find that they, too, have a story to tell.” – Dia @ YouthCare
“I love the intimate setting of the Abbey and the opportunity to see performers such as Doug (Martsch), who typically play much larger venues!” – Brian @ Jewish Family Services
