ABBEY ARTS is dedicated to building community
and helping Seattle be a more creative and welcoming place through music, arts and culture.
In 2017-2019 Attendance at our various programs and hosted events averaged over 42,000 a year!
We are currently seeking new volunteers to join our board of directors for 2 year terms or possibly for shorter projects. We’re also recruiting for our Advisory Board (lower time involvement) to help guide and support the evolution, continuation and expansion of this important work.
We’re working hard to help Seattle (and beyond) be a place of creativity, equity & community.

Generally we are looking for Board & Advisory board members who can bring business or nonprofit experience, wisdom, good communication, and careful oversight to the organization. We need people who have a little time and energy to bring to meetings and events but our Board has two levels of involvement.
Specific areas of expertise needed include:
Previous nonprofit board experience is not required but is highly recommended. Board training is required before starting. There are a variety of Board trainings around Seattle that may interest you.
