”Kapoor’s cameos of blue-collar life are poignant and universal: wrecked home towns, insecure employment, busted dreams. An impressive debut.” ★★★★ THE GUARDIAN
“A series of sharply etched portraits of struggling Americans that points back along a road of socially conscious songs.” – THE NEW YORKER

Heather Woods Broderick is known for being a member of the internationally successful Danish band Efterklang, as well as Horse Feathers and as backing singer for Sharon Van Etten, her new solo release “Gilder” has been gathering critical praise from the likes of Vice Noisey, the Gaurdian (UK), Pitchfork, and was recently featured on NPR’s All Songs Considered.

“It is ethereal and perfect. I just madly love this record.”
Bob Boilen, NPR Music’s All Songs Considered

“beautiful post-folk ballads…a thing of tremendous sonic depth…one of the year’s best debuts…”
